Remember the days of creating subpar cooling in your mold due to capability restrictions of a gun drill? At MSI we saw the

gun drill we are able to drill holes at various angles thanks to the rotating table and a head that can tip +/-20°. This
doesn't stop at drilling water or steam lines. One of the main advantages of our gun drill is lifter rod holes. It is very
common for lifter rods to be on different angles from each other and in compound angles. We can very efficiently and accurately
drill these lines with ease. That's still not all though. For increased flexibility there is a second head with boring capabilities.
This allows us to very easily machine various pockets and features while we are drilling. Not only have we reduced setup time due
to the multi-axis capabilities of this machine but we eliminated the need to put this job up on another machine to do various tasks.
